About Me
I’m Tabatha Alcina, a Louisiana-based graphic designer who thrives at the intersection of creativity, community, and storytelling. My path hasn’t been linear. I’ve been a bartender, a writer, a magazine contributor, a mom raising two boys, and now a full-time designer who believes in weaving authenticity into every project.

I’m not interested in design that’s just decoration. I’m interested in design that tells the truth: about a brand, about a community, about a moment in time. My work is grounded in curiosity. I want to know why something matters before I decide how to show it. That means I approach every project with research, intuition, and a willingness to collaborate.

I’ve built branding for start-ups, designed campaigns for local businesses, crafted spreads for magazines, and created playful, vibrant illustrations for personal projects. Whether it’s an editorial layout that balances narrative and imagery, a bold marketing email that drives clicks, or a logo that gives a new business its first face, my goal is always the same: to make something people feel as much as they see.

Community is at the heart of what I do. From Zachary to Baton Rouge, I’ve worked with local magazines, boutiques, and entrepreneurs who are shaping Louisiana’s creative economy. My portfolio is a mix of polished professionalism and raw creative experimentation because I believe both have value.

My design philosophy is simple: clarity, emotion, and connection. Design should be beautiful, but more importantly, it should make people pause, remember, and act.
